Electrical Prefab Manager

Bart’s Electric philosophy is summarized in the phrase “We give the customer more service than they paid for.” We are looking for a qualified Prefab Manager to join our team in the Kansas City area.

POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating activities associated with Prefab operations to ensure that goals and objectives of projects are accomplished within prescribed time frame and budgeting parameters.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Plans, organizes, and controls project materials from conceptual stages through production of finished products to optimize profit and reduce field installation time.
  • Participates and advises project personnel on production orders and schedules to ensure production and quality of materials meets specifications.
  • Develops and implements production tracking and quality control systems, analyzing production, quality control, maintenance, and other operational reports to detect production problems and reduce delays.
  • Develops or revises operational and working practices and observes apprentices to ensure compliance with standards.
  • Provides technical expertise and training to electricians in support of product development.
  • Prepares product development objectives and schedules for all phases of project.
  • Provides financial and technical justification for product selection and definition.
  • Inspects machines and equipment to ensure specific operational performance and optimum utilization.
  • Directs the hiring, training, and supervision of new-hire apprentices.

Position Qualifications

Must have a high school diploma or equivalent, age 18 or older, reliable transportation, valid driver’s license and hand tools. Must have a JM or Master license. Ability to work in inclement weather, stand entire shift, squat, bend, reach overhead, heavy lifting and climbing ladders.
